Hello !

Wanted to share an idea that I recently implemented on my 97' Valk. Feel free to use.

Was finding it difficult to get a solo fender rack at a reasonable cost.

Here is how I went about keeping the cost to under $50

1. Get a solo fender rack that meets this spec. Length / Width & hook/openings with some wiggle room play.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R8SW1FH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With a coupon applied, its $35 bucks. Without a coupon, its $37 bucks.

2. Use anything you may already have in the garage (no cost) OR buy some basic hardware for under $3 bucks

3. Use an extra tool bag (no cost) or get one for about $10.

I completed this project for $35.

Here are some pics of how I went about it.

Enjoy !

thank you and ride safe !

Way KEWL!  :cooldude: The innovations I've seen here over the years and the Willingness to share STILL amazes me. RIDE SAFE.

Well played!  I've frequently thought about setting up for the solo look, but some of the Valk-specific components pull a hefty price tag. This looks like an inexpensive way to get there. Thanks for the links.  :cooldude:
