These normally present themselves, to my memory, in mid-Spring and only last a few weeks.  Recently one of the cluster in my from yard has come up and I noticed a few clusters near the walking path that I utilize.

How about naming the species Carl.  Some kind of day lily?

My only house plant is a 20yo Sago palm.  It's in the house in cold, and in a concrete planter outside in warm.

It usually sprouts new fronds in spring, but it just happened last week.

Naked Ladies are also known as Belladonna lily, Jersey lily, Surprise lily, Magic lily, Resurrection lily, and March lily.  There are a number of flowers that make up the group known as Naked Ladies.

well this topic was not what I was hoping for... ;D

you want plants, my wife likes them so much is a jungle inside and out of the house around the yard.  The purple clematis overhanging our 6ft tall arbor is so big ONLY on one side is hard to walk thru the 4ft wide entrance without touching it.  She also has a 9 ft tall pink rose on a metal trellis that gets in my way/pricks me near the patio to mow by.
