A few months back I saw a post on a local FB page asking for local riders to lead group rides for https://nelsontours.com/




I offered to help and this past Sunday to Wednesday I led them on day rides through part of the southern Appalachians.

Most were seasoned riders but seasoned on the flat straight roads of MN. As one said to me "you've got Deals Gap. 318 curves in 11 miles. We've got roads 318 miles long with 11 curves."

A few had been on cross country rides.

I was told that all enjoyed the rides. There was a lady rider who got a bit frazzled on the mountain roads so she only rode along with me for 2 days. She did really well and rode at her own speed. V sensible.

Brian and his wife got Covid so he was very pleased I could lead for the 4 days.
