Ride report

Todd and Pennie had a destination in mind for a long time and yesterday was the perfect day. The meeting place was a Huddle House in Dillsboro and off to the south through Cashiers into SC and back up to Whitewater falls where we had a short hike up a path and down some stairs to the observation deck.  Great ride and great weather and great to have some time with Todd and Pennie. It has been a long time since I chased this Balck IS.

Looks like great roads, with great friends. The rides we had in Mammoth Caverns state park last week were just as amazing.

Keith amazing enough, we would know know you all nor the Florida VRCC board if it were not for Todd and Pennie. Also Pennie was the Creator of the Bookface Valkyrie Riders of Florida, they lived in Lakeland but moved to a Fines Creek NC. Interesting.  We stopped in at the falls on July 22 while we were nearby staying in an RV park a couple of weeks ago.
Our son and daughter in law bought some property near Glenville, North of Cashiers and we rode up there to take a look.  We were in the 1 ton truck, no two wheeler any longer but weather was wonderful.  We ate at a Mexican restaurant in Walhalla S.C. called Puerto Nuevo, if you get back in that area it was worth the stop.
Several years ago we were staying in Maggie Valley and I went to a bluegrass festival in Fines Creek at a school.  Had a good time.

Well nice to know. Sure glad of their efforts. I also believe I've ridden by their place before. Hard not to remember that place. I hope meet them down the road.
