Sunday we interned my brother Micheal's ashes and soul to the sea. His urn was made of Himalayan salt. When it dissolves he will ride the current to the Gulf of Maine, out past Nova Scotia, to the coast of England down to the West Coast of Africa where he will sail across the lower Atlantic to catch a ride on the Gulf Stream back to New England.
Rita his wife, did a great job making this happen. She truly went above and beyond and I am happy she included me in the day.
It was a great service. I'm sure he was happy. Godspeed Mike. Give mom a hug, have a beer with dad. I'll see you all when it's my time.

So your journey begins.
And the sea shall grant each man new hope,
As sleep brings dreams of home.
Sometimes you only get 2.7 seconds, make it count.
