Finding Forum pages

We have 532 pages of forum topics.
I've been a member for close to a year and find it interesting to scroll through previous topics.
Is there a quick way to get to a page without tapping on page 532 and then working your way forward?
If, for example, I were currently on page 450, how could I access 449 tomorrow without tapping my way through from 532?

I've done some stuff like this recently...

If you're on the first page, click on the little frob that takes you to, say, the third page, and
look at the URL in your location bar. Change the number to whatever you want.

I was doing it because I wanted to find a post from a certain date range. As you strategically
change the number in the URL you can zoom in on the date range you are after...

OK, Mike. Sounds as if you're spot on. The trouble is I view the forum 99.9% of the time on my phone.
As soon as I tap/touch the URL bit at the top, the forum address disappears and "Search or type Web address" appears, so I can't alter anything.
Thanks for your help anyway.

If Android/chrome browser, when you click in url bar yes it brings up search...though there's an icon looks like 2 pages atop that copies the current link...you can then paste it back into the url and edit the page url

OK.
Have followed your advice and pasted.
When I'm on page 7, I see this.....

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/board,5.240.html

If I'm on page 12, I see this......

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/board,5.440.html

......so I'm still a bit confused.

The number after 5(comma) is the page# before your page x 40. IE, if you load page 1 you get board,5.0.html

page 2 is board,5.40.html       (40x1= page 2)
Page 3 is board,5.80.html       (40x2=page 3)
Page 18 is board,5.680/html   (40x17=page 18)
etc

Sound easy enough? Hah! See how that works for ya

I didn't count, but I imagine there are 40 posts per page...so each page will count 40x in the html

hubcapsc

The forum seems to show 40 posts per page.

If page 7 = 240, then page 12 = 440

440-240=200
200/40=5
7+5=12

Fiddling with URL works, but it wasn't designed with fiddling in mind...
