Dallas Freeze

Been to -26 at Kansas State in '79-grew up in K.C with a lot of nearly that..so down to Dallas  and now the easternmost 'burb...weather forecast gave a 2 day warning for 0 degree stuff-I have lots of tropical plants and succulents--hell to keep seeing patients all day and try to save everything-buying more space heaters-I have enough tarps to wrap the local football stadium...well as luck would have it I forgot to plug in and some froze  before I got there..so somewhere along the high winds got some before I got there.had the faucets running and doors open in kitchen and bathrooms and so on and thought I had done best I could do-up at 4 a.m. and all the sinks and toilet appeared to be frozen up with no running water!!...I was stunned and set about trying my best for hours from 4a to 9 a.m....so some hours later the wife points out the city was repairing a waterline break down  the road :tickedoff ---my lines were good
