In my relentless pursuit of motorcycling longevity, I've bought an even lighter bike that I hope will serve me into my 80's. It's a Kawasaki Z400. Weighs well under 400lbs wet and still has the fun experience that the Valk provided.

Not sure just yet if I'll keep the BMW, but it never hurts to have a few choices in the shed.

Yeah that will get er done. Top speed 112 MPH and 45 MPG ?   You did get it just for the fuel savings correct?

Ya George, that's what I did as well. Sold my wing and now ride a Tenere 700. 450 pounds and gets over 52mpg. 72 hp and 50 foot pounds of torque. It's a blast to ride and I have no regrets.

The Tenere was high on my list, mostly because of the motor. My FZ-07 had the same motor and was a blast to ride. Unfortunately, I had to keep the weight under 400 lbs.
