Hey Tommy, I think you're talkin' about the hose behind the timing cover.  It goes to the top side of the water pump.
I have one of those hoses, but I'm waiting to to change the timing belts before I install it.  That way I'll only pull the timing cover off once.

Not all of them do.  We had an emergency repair at InZane XXI in Athens, OH.

Ok , there is only two hoses , right ? I got three ? Yea they probably did last forever but I'm get caught up  in the old theory, manual says they may be hard to get off resulting in damage? They weren't either way ? Again , three hoses ?

One hose on the front for all to see.  One hose connected near the radiator cap that goes behind the fan to the housing for the thermostat.  The "Y" shaped hose is on the top of the water pump that connects to both cylinder heads.

Yea Charlie, think that correct , totally hidden I guess according to Hay makers illustration,,, thanks guys ! Anyway, back on the road again with new hoses minus one !

Speaking as someone who changed the timing belts in May and the y hose (yes, top of the water pump) in June:  You do not have to remove the timing cover to get that y hose off.
Accessing the hose clamps was VERY difficult, but I don't think that removing the timing cover would not have helped.  It was just that both clamps were turned such that I couldn't get at the fastener head.  I clocked the clamp for easier access when I reinstalled.

I removed the metal screw clamps on my water pump to radiator hose and replaced them with Gates PowerGrip shrink clamps.
