Came in yesterday and installed it. I like it!  :cooldude:  I have an I/S and doesn't interfear with the visability of the dash. Got the ball, the B size arm and a craddle for the unit. If your looking for one, I would recomend this. Hmmmm, now I just need to figure out where to put the power supply for this thing.

On your tombstone there is a dash between the day you were born and the day you die. Make that dash count.

I installed my power supply by useing 2 power ports (one on each side) in the speaker housings. I used the marine applications that have rubber caps to keep water out when not in use.  Drilling the 7/8" hole was painfull however once installed it gave me power for my XM, GPS and radar detector.
Ran one hot wire from battery (with 20amp fuse) and it has servived for 8 years now.

You might consider something other than the 12volt cigarette lighter and look at sockets that perform better, smaller, and easier to use.But...you need to think through what you have, what you are going to have (heated gear, battery trickle charger, etc.)

All ready set up for gerbing electrics. Not sure what other sockets are available and haven't looked.
As for mounting in the fairing/speaker housing, what area works best for ease of pluging in and yet out of the way?

I mounted my power supplies under the speaker panel, plugged into cheap cigarette lighter sockets.  If you want to move your accessory between vehicles, you could buy a cheap replacement power supply on e-bay.
PIC is supplies for XM radio & GPS.
