:cooldude: Well InZane has been chosen for 2024. I'd like to try and go like I did to InZane 2022 in MT. I'll try to save a 2 week vacation for it if I don't retire before then. Any of my FL guys considering?

Are there any hills or curves to ride there?

1300 miles to ride from Orlando. Stopping every 100-120 miles for gas, how long would it take to get there? I would definitely need an auxiliary tank for that ride!   ;)

Well, my Interstate would get 180-190 easy on a tank of gas. I get about 140 now on my Tourer. I can do 500 a day and feel good still after that. If I did that 2 days I'd be there. I'm 1000 away but if I wanted to take my time I'd make 3 days out of it getting there on Sunday for the Early Bird cookout. I've never been to Iowa but understand there are some nice road. I'd prob leave on Thursday for a longer ride home. Nice roads going up from here and on the way home.  :coolsmiley:

Pappy!

We typically stop around every 135 miles or so for fuel. There were a couple days or more on the Billings trip we did way more than 500 and still felt good.

You planning on going?

Farside

Yes, at this time I'm planning to go Nick. We will be moving at some point. House is not on the market yet. So if that doesn't mess up the trip I'll be going.  :coolsmiley:

Pappy!

I will be lucky to get a single trip in to anywhere. Until we get moved.....and organized....that is all I will be doing.
Storage part of the building is coming along finally though. Still have another add on section to build that will house the shop and a "fun" area.

Pencilling this in.

Can anybody ride along? I've threatened to go to inZane for years but never have.

Farside

Yes, you can ride up with me if it works out. I will be moving to S. GA but will be heading up from there. Keep an eye on this board as I'll update as we get closer to June. I'm planning on signing up when it is offered usually in Jan. early Feb. I'll be about 75 miles north of Tallahassee, in Leesburg, GA. There usually are a few from FL going but I haven't heard from others that are going yet. Stay tuned.  :coolsmiley:

:cooldude: Well the announcement that InZane registration is now open was earlier today and I have signed up. Looks like I'm the first from FLORIDA and Georgia. I may be living there by then, S. GA. Either way if you want to meet and ride up let me know. I did signup for the Sunday "Early Bird" arrival. I will leave on Friday June 7th. I'm about 1000 miles from GZ and will try to travel as many back roads as possible.  :coolsmiley:

:cooldude: Well 157 so far have signed up. Only 3 from FL. Gezzz, come on my FL Valk brothers think hard about it. It is a lot of fun and this is a great area to ride. Let's ride up together and get there on Sunday for Early Bird.  ;)

Does this count?

Jerry, I/we would love to make that rally. Wonder what it would take to get the trike over and back, probably prohibitive dollar-wise.

Oh yessss!  :o That lets you all off the hook Jerry. I'd love to ride Norway. I was there last summer and loved it. The wife and I cruised the Fiords, it was "spectacular" :o Riding over there will be great. Let us all see some pic's. Have fun :coolsmiley:

We will be taking the Go-Pro and I'm sure Sherrys iPhone will overheat from picture taking.  Many thanks to Per-Arne for again letting us use a beautiful cream burgundy tourer.  You meet the best people on a Honda!

So it is down to time and port.  Ports are in New Jersey and Ft Lickerdale FL for the out, the port on the way in works good as it is near Oslo and under three hours to Vradal and the meet.  About 5-8 weeks to ship with any comfort level.    It would be epic though!

Leaving for InZane tomorrow Thursday after work. Meeting up with my good friend Bill in Birmingham. Then leaving out early AM Friday. We are taking mostly back roads up when we can staying off the slab when possible. See some of you on Sunday in Dubuque.  :coolsmiley:

InZane 2024 is in the books! Bill and I had a nice ride up to Dubuque but a better one back. Going up we took mostly back roads. When we got across the Ohio River on a fairy I might add, we were teased with a freshly paved road. That was for about 5-6 miles and we were loving it. However short lived. The roads were being prepped for the new paving and then the rain. This was the only rain on the trip. Bikes were filthy.  :-\  The rest of the way to Dubuque the roads were crap. Crap Crap CRAP >:( Dubuque had some nice area but not going to miss the roads.
Bill had a nice ride I thought. At 83 years young he didn't complain and was up and ready to go everyday. Proud of that guy :cooldude: A few pic's of us around the area. Good to be home :smitten:
