Anyone make the move to lithium?
CCA numbers are interesting, but I've read about "good" batteries turning off because of internal diagnostic failures (real or perceived).
So, anyone have experience with them?

I've been running this one in my 1500 since... 2014... I think...

Its test button still says it is good. It started my bike like a normal
cold day the other morning. It will get another chance tomorrow
morning I hope  :cooldude: ...

in cold weather around 40F a Lif battery goes to sleep. So to activate turn headlight on for 30-60 seconds to wake up. then turn light off, wait 30-60 seconds and then start the engine.

I've had this battery in since July 2022...

So far, so good.

I travel and camp with my Valkyrie in weather that many times early mornings are below 40 degrees. Phone will not turn on, battery charge packs work slow and Valkyrie also with lithium battery very hard to start.
I use a Yuasa GYZ16H. I like my motorcycle to start in all temperatures and to run two full sets of heated gear. When I wake up I want my Valkyrie awake too.

Remote campground camping is very different.  No one to rely on but yourself and the equipment you have chosen.
