No Evan he is not.
But a funny "Dave" story.  Last March I flew out to Sacramento CA to haul a Trailer cross country to Savannah GA. While rolling thru Flagstaff Arizona (Dave used to live there) my had a missed call pop up on my phone from Dave. No message left just a missed call.  The odd part was Dave had been gone for almost a year at that time.

i have a funny Dave story

One year after a Danbury (Marcus Dairy) breakfast he offered to show me how to properly change the front brakes

I show up at his house and he is taking the brake off the caliper when "BOING"  the clip pops out, or so he thought

Hours later he sees that oops it was still where it should be and put the thing back together

But for a long while we are scouring the driveway and his lawn looking for that clip

enjoyed knowing him, never let him near the bike again though  : )
