New Pavement Coming in Barre, MA

Crews have milled the pavement on route 62 in Barre from the Hubbardston line all the way up to Barre center where 62 ends. Not sure when the paving will be done, but it's gonna be nice. It was in rough shape. Two years ago, Hubbardston re-paved it's section of 62 from the Princeton to Barre line. It's a beautiful roller-coaster ride.

Parts of route 122 in Barre from Higgins Power Sports south have also been milled. Pavement is coming there, too. That's  a nice stretch from route 122 from Barre south to Paxton.

Those roads are my favorite gate way to riding the beautiful roads of north Central MA and into NH and VT. So yeah, I ride them a lot.

Route 62 in Barre is now newly paved. I rode it today. It's not fully lined yet, but it's well done and beautiful. Give it a go!
