I just got word that Hoser (John Lord of Auburn, Kansas) has just passed out of this world.  He had apparently been of diminishing health for some time.

very very sad. Always enjoyed his posts.  I think then he crashed his valkyrie? and then wasn't on the board anymore?

condolences to his family and friends.

Met him once over 10+ years ago when the VOAI was around in a Prairie du Chien WI ride, very nice guy to talk to, may he RIP and condolesence to his family and friends.  I remember he had a very well taken care of and clean, sharp dark red and cream tourer, nicely equipped and in very good shape with higher miles on it, he rode often and longer distance rides as well at that time.

I remember that he referred to the Capitol of Kansas as Toe Picker.

He attended many ride ins with the VOAi and we enjoyed a lot of parking lot totties together.  Very personable gentleman. He had a wingman called Kasas City Hog that I also have lost track of. Rest in peace "Hoser".
Thank you Willow for posting this.

I beleive that was the ride that he wrecked his maroon & cream Valk on the way home and later got an older  Goldwing. R.I.P.
