I was there to buy on F6B, but I saw a beautiful, immaculate, showroom quality Valkyrie Interstate if anyone is interested.

On the Border Motorcycle Sales, in Pasadena, TX (near Houston for those not familiar).

Unfortunately I can't have two bikes, so now I have to figure out how to sell mine.  They offered a pretty sweet deal at On the Border, they said, I can leave it in their showroom for free, if it sales, it will cost me $300.00   That sounds like a pretty good deal to me.  I wouldn't have to take off from work to come home and show people the bike, or deal with them wanting to test drive, etc.

But I have no experience doing this.  How does that sound?    Last time I had to sell a bike I put an ad in the greensheet, so that's been a few years (or decades).

Dropped my bike off there today.  There's a pretty-much-mandatory $85 fee to get your bike detailed to have it in the showroom.   So basically it's $385 to have them sell it.    The wife says it's worth every penny to not have people come to our house!!  haha!

That pretty interstate is still there too.  damn I tempted to  take out a loan to get that.  But I couldn't keep it that pretty, it'd have bugs and grass and oil on it before long!

Went to their website and no interstate.  Sold?  Rats!

is that the old "Houston Motorcycle Tire" place that used to be on Spencer and Shaver?  I believe that you visited their new location.  I haven't been by there in years, hence the question.
Did you get the 2013 or the 2015 F6B?

Never mind.  I see you bought the 2015 in the General Board post.  Good choice.

Yep, the F6B is the only thing that I can think of that's kind of like an "upgrade" to a Valkyrie.  I got the 2015, as you saw.  It's been really weird getting used to it.  I've spent 20 years give or take on a Valkyrie and I'm resistant to any change!!  haha

I'm getting used to it slowly.  Took it to the Lonestar Bike Rally in Galveston today, through Heavy Thunderstorms and rain showers.  I definitely can't complain about its performance!
