I never saw a Dead show, I was never a huge fan however I really enjoyed their music.

Growing up and learning about Rock the names of excellent musicians were always thrown around and Lesh's name was always well respected and well known.

Good music and good times while listening.

Aw, man - hope it was nothing serious!
Nothing like a Dead show!
Saw them in 70s @ Cobo Hall, later 80s I was driving & saw down below a parking lot looked tike a circus with psychedelic VWs everywhere, went down & was approached by probably 50 hippies all selling cheese sandwiches  :o
Got one to give me a ticket- hey I'm not doing anything next 4 hours anyway  :2funny

Dead heads are the original Swifties   :o

Saw them at Englishtown NJ one hot summers day with about 100thousands others

AFter a copious amount of herb and vodka (we had poured a bottle of vodka into a watermelon since you could not bring a bottle into the raceway grounds)
I fell asleep during Ststephen (I think) woke up maybe an hour later they are still playin the riffs, they would mix songs up to either fill space or because they could

They were probably the original party band, they played well over 4 hours   I think Marshal Tucker and New Riders opened

Actually lost my 57 olds for many more hours as you had to park on random roads in random directions and my cousin and I were so toasted we could not remember the name of the road or how to find it
We got a ride in back of a pick up truck with some kids who didnt mind riding around helping people

We got home around dawn lol   Just a touch of grey Phil
If you don't know where your going any road will take you there
