Auto Window Switch

My car has the auto down window feature when I press the switch down enough.  However, I have the hold the switch up to elevate the window the whole way.  Fancier models of my car, who's switch looks identical, have the auto up feature included.

Question, is this just a switch thing.  Can I replace the switch in my car with one from the fancier model and gain that feature, or is it more involved than just the armrest switch?

Thanks.

All my GM's and metric vehicles never had a auto up. As mentioned, definitely a safety issue.

My 2020 Ram dually has the auto-up window feature enabled.

Since it seems it's more than just the swapping out the switch, I guess I'm gonna leave it.  These windows plop down about a half inch when I touch the door handle to clear the weather stripping the top of the glass inserts into.  Stays down until the door is full closed, then the window jumps back up that half inch to make the seal.  I don't want to mess with any of that.

Go ahead, tell people they don't make them

And this kind of response needed to be added?  :???: So beneficial.

My 2018 F-250 Ford pick up truck has the automatic up and down feature on the front windows. The passenger side window stopped going up, automatically, what I did was hold the window button up until the window closed, then I continued holding the button for 10 seconds longer. The window started going up automatically again, give that a try.
