ULTIMATE SEATS

I have a Ultimate seat on my IS / driver backrest that stands up above the seat 2 or 3 in. I see others that are touching the back of the seat which I like .The Ultimate people tell me because it is a king big boy.the back rest mounts to the fender & that is the way it is.Seems to me all backrest would mt. to the fender? Also , my seat has no marking top or bottom as to what it really is a king big boy or big boy.Any way to tell by looking as I need another for Valk # 2 ?

If the back of the rider's seat has a small flap covering a slot it is a Big Boy.  If there is no slot, it is a King Big Boy.

That's right. The bigboy has the slot for the backrest and the king does not. Also the back of the king sits flatter than the bigboy which is more perpendicular and the king may also have a lot more surface area to accomodate the bigger backside.

I ride a 2KIS the above is correct. I have a bigboy and the rest is mounted in the seat (under a small flap) Also the rear seat and back rest are on the bike. We like both of them.
