I'm a lifelong Michigan fan.  As of 2024, Michigan has the most wins and Ohio State has the second most wins of any programs in NCAA Division I football history.

I don't hate the Ohio State Buckeyes, but they are our arch rival, since 1897.

And we beat them again this year.

But when my Wolverines aren't in it, I'm a Big Ten fan*.

So go Buckeyes.

*Except historical Rose Bowl PAC 10 rivals USC, UCLA, Washington and Oregon who should never have been let into the Big 10 (except for money), I'm never routing for them.

Letting Penn State, Maryland and Nebraska in was bad enough.   :2funny:

What math major calls an 18 team conference the Big Ten?   :crazy2:

Shouldn't this have been posted on the PaM board?   ;)

I dunno Carl, I don't seem to have made anybody mad.   :)

After the Irish first long drive and TD, they've run 7 plays for 18 yards.

:cooldude: I picked OHIO STATE as they beat the 2nd best team IMHO TEXAS the game before this one. They will win but ND will find a way to score some more TD's. Finally guess 42-21.

As a lifelong football fan (who ran tailback in I formation, triple option, running attack offenses in JrHi and HS), I continue to be amazed at how often the team with the most rushing yards wins the game.  Despite fantastic throwing quarterbacks and dazzling receivers.  Not always true, but more often than not, old school running attacks result in good ball control, keep the other offense off the field, and win games.

Ohio State ran 214yds, and Notre Dame ran 53 (their quarterback got 40, and the rest of the team got 17).

Congratulations to the Buckeye national champs.   :cooldude:

(Even though my last year national champ Wolverines beat them this year.  ;D)
