Will std seats fit the IS?

Will the std seats fit on the IS?  I know you need tank clearance in front, but are the brackets underneath the same?  I thought I heard they were, but want to know for sure.

Absolutely.  With the exception of tank clearance, they fit just fine.

I was told the rear IS seat will bolt onto the tourer.  Should work, but I don't know.

You'll just wrinkle the nose a bit.  If you're a purist you want one of Des' (Ultimate) Interstate pilot seats.

Of the stock seats, only the 2000+ is worth putting on an I-state.
