Around 3 this afternoon a Nave helicopter on a training exericise crashed between Cass and Durbin . Word is they found 5 survivors . My Sis and all the rest of the Medic and EMS staff are trying to assist and recover.  Prayers for all the Men and also for those that are braveing the cold and 20 inches of snow to help.

Hey Ron, local news here says crash was near Greenbank. Saying it sat down very hard but the 3' of snow cushioned the crash. Also saying no fatalities hope the reports are accurate. They had to let rescuers down by cable as snow is too deep to land .
I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

:cooldude: They are saying that it is not understood how all 17 onboard survived the crash...as they went down pretty hard ,and in a very remote area.  They brought 13 out just before daylite and the other 4 a little later . My sister had the pilot and took him to Elkins WV with some broken bones and cuts. The nearest road to the crash site was + or - 3 miles which made transporting the injured very hard.  Snowshoe Ski Resort stepped up and brought some Snowcats to assist .

Thank God for for saving them and having a crack EMS team standing by!
