Reunion meet up at the Haas Moto Museum in Dallas, Saturday, May 3rd.

Ready to meet up with some old friends and possibly new ones, then mark your calendar for Saturday, May 3rd.  The plan is to meet at Haas Moto Museum at 10am.  This is one of the best motorcycle museums I have seen.  This is normally a self-guided tour but we will have our own guides to show us around.  

Haas is working on a new coffee bar inside their museum, but it has not opened yet.  Whether or not it is opened when we go, I will bring a cooler with drinks and snacks for everyone.  They also have a small gift store for t-shirts and books.  One book they sell is about all bikes in the museum.  Custom Motorcycle builders Craig Rodsmith and Sparky Williamson will be there to talk with us, take pictures and sign autographs.

After a few hours at the museum between 12 and 1pm, we can all drive over to Maple and Motor on Preston Road for lunch and more catching up with friends.  Maple and Motor has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for its great burgers.

There is a small charge for the museum admission.

First responders and veterans are free.

It's been a while.  Sold my Valk several years ago.  Replaced it with an F6b.  BIG difference.  Really enjoyed the bigger "Valk" until I totaled it a couple of years ago.  But, couldn't sit still very long.  Bought a 2020 bagger with DCT while waiting for my check from the insurance company for my F6b.  Most of you probably never heard of it.  It's a Dual Clutch Transmission Goldwing - aka: automatic.  Yeah I know.  "AUTOMATIC! That's not a motorcycle."  Took a few hundred miles to get used to it but I really enjoy all the new goodies that this generation of Wings has to offer. Valk Pilot (Barnett) and I have ridden several miles together with my new-to-me Wing and he hasn't gotten any strange disease from riding with me so I guess I'll keep it  : ).  Weather permitting I'll be riding that day so I'll head her South and join you young'uns for the festivities if nobody minds

This event is indoors so it is rain or shine.  I spoke with them Sunday and they are very excited to see us.

If you like motorcycles and a great burger you should not miss this event.  In this museum, you will see some incredible motorcycle from some of the first motorcycles built to what you see on the road today. A replica of the famous Captain America chopper from the movie Easy Rider is also on display. A motorcycle owned by Ryan Renolds and one built by Keanu Reeves, ARCH Motorcycle, is on display. There is also racing bikes and a large collection of custom motorcycles.  Custom Motorcycle builders, Craig Rodsmith from Melbourne and native Texan Sparky Williamson will be on hand to meet us.  Craig has a previous engagement so he will only be with us between 10am to 11am.

I also talked with Jack, owner of Maple and Motor, and he is also excited to see us.  I told him I will give him a headcount, and he said he will definitely take good care of us.

Come join us if you can because I sure miss being around my Valker buddies.

Man, it was great to see everybody again.  I hope you all enjoyed the museum or Maple and Motor.  I think we need to have more of these get together so keep an eye on this forum for the next one.  It was cool that we even had some long distant riders join us.  I hope everyone made it home safe and sound.

Thanks for taking the lead on this, Baron.  It was great to see some of the people associated with some of my favorite memories.  I had a great time and look forward to the next time soon.
