freshening up an 01 IS

soooo, it was misrepresented LOL

plan:
- new rubber - lookin hard at metzlers but still reading (toyed with DS but not gonna this time)
- all new pads and flush the system eleventy billion times (best manufacturer?)
- replace rotors (pretty thin and believe they are warped as well - manufacturer? OEM?)
- new seat (ultimate - had 4 of em previously)
- remove and sell next to new cb that p.o. installed (less weight and I ride silent anyway)
- super valk the old gurl

'only people I know of are four wheelers and even some of them are switching to vhf lately - bottom line - i don't even want the intercom system that came with bike and will be letting that go as well - wife needs to pee - wife taps my shoulder

The intercom on my wing was wired through the radio. Yours is probably the same. Just keep it and don't use it.

Meanwhile, everyone around us is driving literal devices - iPads on wheels - with so many unwanted, un-asked-for, undesireable 'features'... that you can't get rid of. Ever.

Other week I rented a car. Went to put it in reverse, and it automatically turned the radio down.

that would be a nice feature for looking for an address. I have to manually turn mine down so I can see better. lol.
