Rear Shock Setting

Took my 99 interstate out today for a run and it seem ride was a little harsh.  Got back home and I notice the rear shocks were set at 4.  I run my air pressure around 36 lbs., both tires.  Just curious, what's your rear shock set at?

Single rider on an Interstate #3 should be enough. Two/up I can see #4. I recommend you up the tire pressure to 40 on both or even 42 rear 40 front. It will save your tires from cupping and other premature wear.

follow what Chris stated.  check the upper shock bushings, if bad they will provide a harsh ride.

Hondas OEM bushings have been updated to polyurethane like Red Eye.
