Front brake hose routing

Previous owner of my 2003 standard put aftermarket two-line brake hoses on that are probably 8 inches or so too long, leaving a mess of excess hose flapping in the breeze.  I've replaced the hoses with proper length hoses, but I am struggling with hose routing between the headlight area to the clamps mounted on the fender.  Is there a "preferred" way to route these?  Anything that definitely should not be done?

These two holes look absolutely ideal, I guess they were probably part of the original brake line setup, is there a good way to reuse these?

Those are threaded for standoffs.  I will try to look tomorrow and see if I have the bracketing you need.

Going by memory, could be wrong but that point is where the single line from the master cylinder
Had a tee and two lines went down for two calipers.
Seems that 20 years ago I eliminated that tee and ran separate steel braided lines. I'll need to go look

Brake lines are available in custom lengths to ensure proper fitment  :cooldude:
