Aaron Rodgers IMO IS showing his age-42-tonight. I hope he retires before he gits serious hurt. RIDE SAFE.

He certainly was, but the end result was not entirely his fault.

We don't watch too much NFL, we will tune in for some post season games so I cannot say how any team or player performed all season but last night's game wasn't pretty.

Rodgers stood in the pocket far too long, like he thought he'd have all night to get a pass off.

HayHauler

In the past, Rogers would have scrambled outside the pocket and made us pay for not containing him.  But last night, he stood in the pocket too long and our defense made him pay.

TJ fumbled 3 times, but the defense saved him.  Our defense looks like one of the best in the league.

The highlight of the night was the lineman #90 Rankins picking up that Rogers fumble and taking it home for the touchdown!!!!

Offense is going to have to wake up this coming weekend against the Pats.

It would have helped a lot if his receivers could catch the ball

A R used to have a much better eye for his passes. And recollect I AM A BEARS FAN! But I do give credit where and When it's due. NO matter Who a Good qusrterback plays for at 42 you just might not have much stretch left in them springs no more!  :-X
And Jimmy yer Right defensive linemen generally Only git a bit of glory when they sack the quarterback oe bust up a play witout the laundry being thrown. Always WAY KEWL when a big ol linemen rumbles in with the fumble recovery and the TOUCHDOWN!  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Yes, the Texans defense and poor performance by the opposing offensive line made the difference.

If the Texans play the same way in the next game the Pats will eat them alive.

Fast forward to when #90 Rankin has his grandchildren around him and he tells them to watch how grandpa scored a touchdown, then plays the video of it happening. If nothing else huge happens, that will be the highlight of his playing career. Did you see how delighted and excited he was on the sideline after that happened? I didn't care who won but that event was a classic.  :cooldude:

THAT was absolutely the highlight of the game for me.  Big ole linemen types don't get to touch the ball that often, little alone SCORE a touchdown!  JJ Watt had a couple in his career.

LOL!  We did have a very bad year.  Interestingly enough it was largely due to a lack of acceptable performance by the offensive line.

Our recent history, other than 2025, puts us in good position.  How has Houston done recently?   ;)

Recently, pretty good, not great, but good.  Same issue as KC, offense needs serious help.  Hopefully the offense will show up this weekend and produce a good, close game.

I'm with you for this weekend.  After that we may be on opposing bleachers.   :)

I predict that we will not be in the bleachers at all after this weekend....  But, who knows?

arod age 42 is still in top 15 QB's in the league, but surely has lost a step or two and a tad bit of arm strength but still could, if he wanted to, play another year in the NFL.  my question is why risk it since he took a beating by the texans?  I hope he can live with the last play of his career being an interception returned for a TD and a whiffed shoulder tackle, pretty lame attempt, to stop the returner from scoring.

I think he will be back next year if the 'right' team who has a chance to make a run in the playoffs needs a QB and for the right price to pocket his already big headed ego.

Texans will need offensive help to win this coming weekend since from what I saw, the defense almost entirely won the game for them against the Steelers.

I am favoring the underdogs being the Bills with Josh Allen doing the tush push for 9 yards and the Rams with Matt Stafford, both QB's in my opinion deserving of a superbowl win.

HayHauler

The local news station made a statement that the Texans defense has as many points as TJ Stroud in the last 7 or 8 games.  I can't remember the actual number, but that shines a huge light on the need for some , any sort of, offense.
