I'm in need of a new front tire, going with the Avon Cobra. Has anybody replaced/purchased one recently? HDL has them for $198.00 to my door.  Kinda wanted to do this BEFORE Daytona, highly unlikely I'll have it delivered and mounted before :-[

Either have DLP HDL Price Match motoxoutlet.com    $157.99 or get it from them. DLP will price match and give ya a few bucks as well (beating the competition price).

Just ordered mine, actually comes to a little more with shipping, total of $170.00. That beats $198.00. Thanks  :cooldude:  Got some new patchboy 90 degree chrome valve stems coming too! Oh, and new Gl-1800 chrome adjustable levers, feels good to be working again (more toys)

I have them also, about two years now and they look/work great. On the advice of the guy that mounted my front tire when I first put them on....he suggested a small dab of LocTite on the threads in the inside. Just the blue is fine, helps prevent the slight chance of ever working loose.

Avon Cobra front gave me the best mileage I've ever got out of a front tire in the 12 years I've owned a Valkyrie just under 12,000 miles. They handle great also I run 40-42 psi and check my tires before the bike leaves the garage every ride. You will like the Cobra  :cooldude:

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Jakewilson.com Avon Cobra   This is my first Cobra, always did pretty good with Venom's.  This one is acutually going on the Rocket III.  Same size front tire.  No tax, free shipping, good price.  Ordered Monday night online, it arrived today.

Ditto on the Metz. I had an Avon on mine before my Metz, and I decided to go with a different tire after I started getting mixed results in the corners with the Avon towards the end of its life, especially going from sunny to shady pavement. One time going into a downhill switchback it started to slide out on me... I almost pinched a hole in the seat! Parked the bike till I got the Metz on, and wouldn't go back
