Well, after around 12,000 miles on this bike, I've come to the conclusion that handlebar risers would be a good idea.
Ideally I'd want around a 1" lift up around a 1" pull back, but a tad more wouldn't be a problem.
I've heard of the H-D Deuce ones which require a bit of fettling, plus changing cables.
The word Aeromach appears every now and then but can't find any.
In UK, Puig has some also but I really don't know much about the different types.
Surely, there must be something about that just entails a simple swap over.
Any thoughts?
If I need to purchase new cables then so be it. I'll do it for the best risers.

custom chrome duce risers I have. if u installed the I/S throttle cable box, u don't need longer cables. The I/S has the cables going downward and not outward away from the bike.

I've installed 1" back and 1" up risers on 3 Tourers and 1 Standard and did not have to change any cables. I seem to remember just a little cable re-routing near the headlight.

Not that it wouldn't be a good idea to swap out for Interstate Starter/Stop Switch Set and Throttle Cables,  but I didn't need to and have not experienced any issues.

I can't remember the brand risers and there were several that were available back in the day.

No info on the "Homepage" or "Shoptalk" I could find.

Found this thread, maybe it will help.

Maybe another approach, I swapped to different a bar instead.  https://www.jpcycles.com/product/milwaukee-twins-oem-style-chrome-handlebar
The 8.5" model alleviated the excessive pullback from OEM causing wrist position/angle to be less towed in, wider for better leverage thus making low speed handling better and 2.5" more height. Also gained much more throttle cable slack and no issues with wiring and master cylinder's lines. You can adjust the bar's for the additional pullback like you wanted with different riser's. I used them on my VT1100C Spirit as its PB/width caused me the same issues as the Valks OEM bar. At $50 appx. with shipping vs new risers cost and additional labor removing the risers, worked really well for me. My body specs.: 5'11", regular build no high pocket or long upper body, 30" arm to wrist and 33" inseam.

While they don't seem to be available anymore, I installed Show Chrome risers, a few months after I bought the bike, so almost 11 years ago. No problem with cables, besides a little change in routing:

Please excuse the crud on them; I haven't had a chance to polish it since my last wet ride.
That gauge is 3-1/2", for reference.

I would be interested in OEM height with a 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch pull back...

After reading your appreciative comments I think my handlebars are going to have to stay as they are due mainly to the age of the bike and many Riser brands no longer supply.
I've discounted the Deuce ones for a number of reasons such as new cables and drilling a larger hole somewhere.
The Aeromachs are impossible to find in the UK.
There are some Chinese ones about but I won’t be going down that route.
There may be others such as Rox but remember that it's very expensive purchasing from the US due to customs, delivery and 20% tax charges as well.
I'll keep looking until something "used" will possibly appear on UK Ebay.
Many thanks.
