That's definitely Cool.

But they are retiring the shuttle.

How the HECK are the Americans going to get a ride up to that engineering marvel?

I guess it's like Smokin Joe says "If I tell you a Pee Ant will pull a wagon don't ask questions just hook

it up"  Sounds like that is what we are doing at this point. No plan except to lay of NASA Employees.

Yea sounds like we are ceding the space race to the Chinese.

Talked with two Marines that were getting a hair cut the other day.

I told them they better not start a war with China.

And they of course asked why.

I told them if we go to war with them we will have to fight naked on our side, because they manufacture all the clothing  we  wear now. Everyone laughed at that , but I think it's pathetic.

Harley Shop, anything you look at in the apparell dept. is made in China.

And they make the majority of their profit from the clothing boutique.

Taking the astronauts up is a big deal, but bringing home worn out parts and experiments is what ONLY the Shuttle can do.  The "down mass" is the part we will really miss.  SUX!  Not to mention stupid...

ok who remembers skylab? when it came careening back to earth, who is gonna get whacked this time?

Well we could start a pool on the atmospheric reentry trajectory.

But I don't know when it's orbit is going to decay.

So I guess we will wait a while until we start the betting.
