Can I bolt up a 1988 - 2000 Goldwing final drive to my 1997 Valkyrie?

Years ago, I compared side by side the 2 units. One flange bolt is not a matchup. If you were to cut off the one stud, it will bolt up. I feel the other 3 will hold the unit just fine.

Sandy, that is kind of interesting. Did you check to see if the axle would be at the right alignment to go squarely into the left side side of the swingarm?
