You won't believe how good the trike runs...now!

For some time I've had a problem with the motor running cold on the right side, but still had good spunk. After I had the carbs rebuilt and installed, it started immediately but still not running right plus it was popping through the exhaust. Obviously an issue so started searching ignition issues, realising I had poor power with my old carbs...on the right side. Final analysis, #1 & #3 were reversed, apparently done during the engine swap and just wasn't watching what I was doing. I hit the starter and ooohh baby...that's smooth. Crack the throttle...immediate response. All this tells me my old carbs aren't in as bad a condition as first thought but I love the smoothness of the rebuilt set. Dave Morgan did a much better job than I ever would have. Hats off to Valkyriecarbsand custom.com.

Can't wait to get the CC installed now so we can ride it. And...if you're interested in my old carbs, let me know. Otherwise I think I'll not bring them.

Glad you got it straightened out.  I'm sure it was a big relief once it started up running smoothly like we've come to expect of these old girls.
