Hey yall,

Bought myself a 97 Valkyrie Tourer, but it did not come with the windshield or any brackets. Where would be my best source? I've looked at the diagram on Partzilla to see what all I would need and it seems like I need quite a lot of bracketing for it to be OEM. I would really like it to be OEM, but I could make do with aftermarket options, especially if they are superior. I do like my toys being as OEM/OEM+ as possible though.

Thanks in advance!

Honda no longer sells that windshield. However, they come up for sale every once in a while on the classifieds page. I think the OEM is superior to any of the aftermarket ones.

There are/were aftermarket windshield transparencies available that fit the OEM brackets. If you can score a set of brackets, you're more than half way there. I have a Clearview shield, with the re-curve at the top, and love the way it gets the airflow over my helmet.

Thank you both! I'll put in an ad and look for some brackets online.

For brackets, do I just need the Lower, UpperLeft, and UpperRight brackets? I see the partzilla diagram also lists the "stay assemblies". Are they required also?

I believe I have all the brackets used to mount and the pieces that go on the windshield as well. I don't have the screen itself, but you can get a new one from Clearview. They're a bit pricey but mount in place of the OEM shield. I'm at InZane this week but you can contact me at: stuffy402@gmail.com and I'll share my phone #. I'll be home most likely by next Sunday.
