Having issues with 1999 Valkyrie interstate.  Low end miss and popping.  I would like to find a mechanic ( F6 expert to take it to).  I have had it to a shop..they pulled carbs , new O rings and cleaned jets....said it was fixed.  got her out on the road and ran great at top end..... stopped for a light and sure enough the miss is there still.

I've checked all i can check ( not a mechanic). any ideas?

have 88K miles.

Posting your location may help for local assistance.

Sounds like a possible vacuum leak.

Maybe check or replace all of the rubber hoses associated with the smog crap, or better yet, desmog her.

Check or replace the intake nipple caps.

A little more than an hour away not that bad!  Do you have a contact number or handle for him on the board?

valkmc, you might have more luck starting your own post.
Below is from the OEM Service Manual.  The "spring" is to be installed first, before the pads. then you push the pads against it while installing the pin.

Hope this helps.
