Well folks, looking like I might have to do it all over. The hip joint lower PEG or STEM that goes into the femur has slipped, X-rays show bad news.    Been 2 months now, not getting better. This, folks is by far the worst pain I've ever had! I need a walker to get around. We will see Monday if replacement is really needed. The days of riding the Valk, well,,, that's over, unless I trike it?   But,,,, those Gold Wing trikes are looking real good. I need that AUTOMATIC with reverse.

Hey Steve. So sorry to hear about your hip replacement. What a grueling process. 

I"m pretty sure that video of the GW trike that you posted is AI. There's a lot of that AI stuff on YouTube. Honda does not make a GW trike and probably never will. A popular trike conversion among guys on the Gold Wind Board is the California Side Car trike kit. Beautiful, but expensive.

Sorry to hear. Good luck with the surgery, hope everything works out for you. Those new GW Trikes are nice but expensive. Even the used ones I've seen on line seem to hold their value.

Yes, it might be AI,   however I like it!   Those Wings make the best trikes. Oh, give it HELL Tony

Damn, Steve sounds like you are really going through hell! Hopefully you can make a quick and full recovery. Those trikes are some beautiful bikes. I have the DCT and really like it, I can imagine how nice it would be on a trike.

Hey Steve...If in fact I do experience a hellish first week, it will all be worth it if I notice an improvement with the pain and lack of mobility I have had the past couple years...
