Mobil 1 15W-50

I know this is one of those controversial subjects (however, not quite as volatile as the Darkside discussion). 

I use Mobile 1 15W-50 Gold Cap in my Tourer simply because the previous owner used it for the entire life of the bike previous to me owning it.  From reading some of the threads on this board, others also use Mobil 1 15W-50.  I can't seem to find the Gold Cap (Extended Performance) any longer, should there any problem with using the Silver Cap instead??????

That's what I've used since buying the bike.  So far, so good.

I have used the silver cap for years in my Valks and Wings.  Whatever you use, make sure it does NOT say energy conserving in the little ring on the back of the bottle or have friction modifiers in it as they can cause clutch slippage.

wal mart was closing out all 15-50 for 15.00 a gal jug here in mi .. i bought what was at the store i was at ..
