Purge tubes and air cleaner housing

Do I get an unobstructed view of the purge tubes by removing the air cleaner housing?  I replaced intake O-rings to correct what I thought was creating a slight gas leak.  I still have a slight gas leak.  It looks like two of these purge tubes are not hooked up but I can't reach them.  Could this be my gas leak?  They look like they could stand to be replaced.

Hardluck  I'm just northeast  of houston  over by humble.There is two vent tubes that come off carb banks that do not hook to anything. If you need any help give me a holler. Check the weap hole on the bottom of the fuel peacock, if the diaphram has ahole in it it with drip fuel from there.

looking for replacing purge tubing 3/16...autoparts doesn't have it.  any ideas?  BTW i'm in humble also...

I just replaced some vac lines on mine this past weekend when I replaced the air filter. I did remove the air box to get at them and cleaned the box too. Down tubes had an oil film. I got the lines from the the Honda shop. Less than a buck a foot, right size and no hassel matching up at the auto store.

That's good to know.  I figured the Honda shop would want a first born child or left nut for them.

Hardluck since you know where Humble is I'll tell you I live in Huffman not too many people know where Huffman is as we're just a small bedroom community. I'm at work today if you want to give me a call at  713 818- 9703 maybe we can meet up sometime. :)

The vacuum line at the Honda shop may be the OEM line that is single wall and subject to cracking.  THen whole reason that got us to start changing these things out.  Many desmog to get rid of vacuum lines altogether, I did not I use 5/32 fuel line from autozone.  Its double wall and a tighter fit than the owm so you dont need those pesky clamps.  If you are going to do the job and do it the long hard way of removing the airbox as well......make sure youre not putting crappy OEM vacuum lines back on that wont last a couple years before they start cracking again
