Anybody used #20 fork oil?

Has anybody used #20 fork oil in your Valkyrie rather than #10 or #15, as most do? I like a fairly stiff suspension, so that is why I'm considering the #20 fork oil. I have Progressive springs installed, although I've put about 40k miles on them, so I suppose they're not quite what they were when new. I would welcome thoughts on this, especially from anyone who's done it.

The #15 oil I put in was noticibly stiffer than what they put in at Honda.

I use amsoil full syn suspension fluid

with progressive springs. I used less fluid then recommended based on a post. Great smooth ride and no brake dive.

I like a firm ride too.  I opted for the Progressives and 15# synthetic by Amsoil.  It was almost "harsh" when cold, but when it warmed up and started working, it settled in.  It did this for the first month or so, but has lost that harshness and is just nice and firm/smooth.

Did you use the #10 fork oil? And when you say you used less than recommended...how much did you use. I'm looking at an oil change out in the forks in the near future, been about four years now and it's getting kinda rough and bouncy....even with Progressives in there.

amsoil #10

from tech manual GL1500 C/CT   left fork 25.2 +/- 0.08 oz,  right fork 22.7 +/- 0.08 oz,
I used 23.5 oz left fork and 21 oz right fork. I also completely cleaned and dried the tubes. there was zero fluid in them for the rebuild.

My springs went in with Honda 10wt, but I'd bet good money too much of it was added by the shop.
