Reminds me of a time a guy I knew told me his computer crashed and he wanted me to reload his OS. But I decided to see if I could rescue it for him first... It wasn't pretty.... Right there on his desk top was a pic of him pouring the coals to his girl friend. And to top it off he had photo shopped the pic to make himself a bit longer.
I believe I was more embarrassed than he was.

I don't think I want MY computer fixed his way:  "I just wipe out the hard drive and and reinstall windows."  But for less than $100, how can you lose?

i keep an external hardrive that i dump my pictures on once in a while that way i can reformat my OS and not worry about loosing a ton of good stuff. 

it's really not that hard.
