Where is the cheapest place to get a new u-joint. I found a couple of them at $98.00, is that about right?

That's about right. Check Honda Direct line though if you haven't...seems to me they were about $85 there.

Call a trike shop. I used a 1500 take out wing U joint to repair a Valk last year. The owner + wife are about 400 lbs. Not overweight, just very tall people. It's still going fine. Paid $45 for it. If you want one shipped; D&D motorcycle has a few. He builds trikes (DFT & Chamion). He has a 100% + rating on EBay.
