Motorcycle Lift Adapter for Valkyrie (standard) with Rivco Centerstand

Hi. I have a '97 Valkyrie with Cobra 6 into 6 Pipes and a Rivco centerstand. I have seen adapters here that are homemade and seem to work well, but the ones I've seen are not used on Valks that have a centerstand.

Has anyone made an adapter for a motorcycle lift that can be used on a Valkyrie that has a centerstand?

To begin with, since you have the centerstand there is very little you do on the bike where a jack is needed....including changing the rear tire. That said, since I got the centerstand about six years ago the only time I use a jack is if I need to raise the front end. And when I do use a jack, with the centerstand I no longer use the adapter. For mine, I just cut a piece of 3/4" plywood that covers the top of the jack and roll it under the bike. It fits nicely up against the bottom of the engine.

I bought a lift adapter from a guy here on the board that is made for use with the centerstand.

It worked great the 1 time I used it.
