Clutch and Brake Master cylinder boots

I noticed that the boots on my clutch and brake master cylinder boots are showing the sings of age and are cracking.  My question is: once the lever is removed is it just as simple as "popping" the old boot off and carefully sliding the new boot on.  Or am I missing something that is not obvious.
Talking about item #7 in this drawing :  http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=148603&category=MOTORCYCLES&make=HONDA&year=2000&fveh=3474

and the corresponding boot on the brake master cylinder.

(sorry unable to post pictures due to firewall restrictions)

Want to discover the not so obvious by askng rather than experimenting.

Thats all too it.

Sweet, that's what I was hoping to hear, the new boots arrived yesterday and I was hesitant to start the replacement. I didn't want to learn the hard way if I was not seeing the not so obvious (or in some cases the obvious  :) ), thanks!  :cooldude:

Use a piece of 1/2" thin wall conduct  to insert new boot.  Perfect tool for this job.

Rlpacement went well.  Old boots were looking really bad.  I used couple of high tech popsicle sticks to seat them (the new ones)  in the inner groove.  The 1/2" thinwall conduit sounds even better but I didn't see that until after I did the popsicle stick work. :)
