i saw some pics of valks which had closed the gap completely under the tank : closing the hole between transmission covers, tank, carbs and side covers, around the ignition (R) / fuel knob (L).

i am thinking of making my own version, but i wonder how this is mounted, so that it
- can easily be removed for service : is it just held in place by the 3 bolts (3 x M6 Left, 3 bolts for the ignition key on the Right) ?

- still allows to release the saddle : can i just make a cutout for the seat lock and move the seat lock from the center cover to the side panel ? is the standard cable long enough or does it have to be replaced with a longer version ?

can anyone share some tips / mouning instructions ?

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

they use existing bolts/mounting points...you'll have to get creative.

There is plenty of cable to move the seat release to the panel. I've got the ones from carolinabike and that is how they work. The three little bolts on the left side is how the panel is mounted.  Ignition side is also held on with three bolts.
