Leaving at 8:00a.m. sharp with 8 other riders( I'm the only valk owner) headed to Panama City Beach for fun and sun. Yahoo! Let's ride!

I would have much rather gone on the Cheaha ride, but had made the reservations for a condo in PC before Tim had announced the Cheaha dates. I tried to sell my part but ...no good, Now I have 2 who have backed out, so the cost is rising on the rest of us..you know how that goes. This may be my last trip to thunder on the beach.....I'm sure another great Vrcc ride will pop up next year, maybe Tim will have second thoughts about stopping  Cheaha .
I will be riding in the Whiskey run for sure got my room reserved.

I live about 100 miles from PCB and Thunder Beach. been there done that several times. Same old same old. Cheaha, look out, the Storm is approaching. yeeehawww. gonna ascend on the mtn one more time. Tim, hope the weather is nicer than the last time we was up top. see ya at 1230 at Ashland at the Court Square Cafe on Friday. Any others coming up from the south, it's at the intersection of 9 & 77.

I always announce the Cheaha date....one year in advance! IF we'll do anything next year, i'll announce the dates....at the event this weekend...as usual. But one thing i know....we won't have next year...what we have this year:

BIG TIME rock and roll band...right there...amongst us...partying with us (they'll be doing tequilla shots with us)
Lady's tattoo contest
prizes, tons of VALKYRIE prizes...multiple lower engine guards, multiple radiator grills, tank chrome, clocks, etc, etc....with EVERYONE getting a FREE ticket.
FREE BOOZE...........while it lasts......
catered meal by Lori/Motormamma...


Etc, etc. this is THE LAST YEAR........for all the big time events. It's gonna' be a party......

but hey, i have been to TB also. i went a couple of times to check out "the competition". It's a party too....though more geared towards the "harley crowd". You guys WILL have fun. But since i've BEEN TO BOTH...Cheaha and TB...i can honestly say....you're missing out by missing the last big VALKYRIE CHEAHA...the last of the big Southeast Valkyrie events................

Ride safe....and party hearty.....we'll drink a bunch of free booze and party down with the band for ya'.........
