250 or so miles, had a little rain, some sun, gusty wind and a whole lot of clouds,
really enjoyed the day!! I remembered my camera when I was halfway to Newport.
Never did like it anyway so I didn't turn around. Coach rode with us most of the
day but had to break off and head home. 28,000 miles on his Darkside tire and a
lot more still in it. Found out that the local indy bike shop no longer installs car
tars for motersickles! >:( Had one blow up while mounting it. Wonder what he's
gonna do if a motersickle tire blows up!?!?! :uglystupid2: Not looking forward at all to going
back to a round tire, but he's the only one I know that would install car tars.
Don't have all the stuff it takes to do it myself. Guess I'll wait another 15-20,000
miles and see!!!

Have a guy that'll do them here in Knoxville off of Chapman Hwy. If you're close it's Cycle One. Charged me $25 plus disposal unless you take the old one and tax. $33 and change total for mount and balance.  :cooldude:

I know a couple places that will mount them in K-Town as well Bob.One is a tire shop and he'll do it cheap if you buy the tire from him. Bring the wheel we'll do lunch  :cooldude:

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Thanks, both. I've got til next year before I have to worry about it.
Wherever I go I'll probably ride the bike there and let them change it.
Do they lube the splines or is it tires only?
