I have a 2000 Interstate and I want to make a copy of the key. The parts fiche has a "type 1" and "type 2" listed (this is under the "side cover" selection).

Any idea which I need? I had a blank I never used for my Standard and noticed it was shorter, but don't know which key I need.

Your dealer shoud be able to make you a copy.
If you're lucky enough to ride a Valkyrie, you're lucky enough.

A Mitsubishi DC3 blank works perfect for the Valkyrie...Key & cut for 98 cents at ACE Hardware  :cooldude:

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Try that that should help you out!!

If your key number starts with A or B, then you need Type 1 blank. If it starts with C or D, it's Type 2.
