Trying to pull the rear struts on my wife's Lexus, has over 100k miles so they've been in there a while. I can get everything loose except the two main mounting bolts....have a 3/4" nut on them which I believe is about 19mm. I've had them soaking in liquied wrench for the last couple days, and using a rattle gun set at the highest power I have been unable to break them loose. Due to their location, it's nearly impossible to get much of an open shot at using a breaker bar and a pipe....especially the top one. I'm stumped and sure don't want to pay to have it done...talk about expensive!! 

Any suggestions? If I could get them loose, the entire job of replacing the struts and associated parts would be an afternoon project.

Better than liquid wrench is 50/50 acetone and ATF. Not all impact tools are created equal. Can you borrow/rent a bigger one? Sometimes I just crank up the pressure above the manufacturers limits and pray.

Not sure what needs to be saved, and what will be replaced, but if the parts you are having trouble with are being replaced, try a 'nut splitter'...

I used a short extension so I could get the breaker bar in there on the side of the rotor, then put a piece of pipe on it. Still had to grunt a bit but they broke loose. One side is done, probably be Friday before I can get to the other one.
