Not bad, that's going 65,70mph mind you, and my Ruby don't rally like going that slow, shes like a caged lion wanting out. Oh well I figured I'll take it easy on her riding to work and it's more relaxing,am I getting old? Sure do enjoy riding her to work tho, been fun and I sure look forward to getting off work, makes me smile knowing whats in the parking lot waiting for me. Plus I kinda have to ride her right now since some bonehead backed into my brand new Silverado in Walmart parking lot,and do you think they left there info? Hell no! 2k worth of damage, two people saw it happen but nobody got the darn licence plate, oh well, on to the next chapter.

Gotta tell ya, brother.....after mine, yours is my favorite Valkyrie   :cooldude:

I have a standard and average 33 mpg's as well, even when blasting down the highway at 85 with OSS.  I take it easy getting her up to speed and leaving from a dead stop at lights and stop signs.  I noted that jack-rabbitting from a dead stop really drops the mpg's.  I can get around 37 mpg's if I keep her under 65 mph, but that's nearly impossible with this bike.

I remember my first Valk '98' blue and cream. For the longest time I was getting about 40 to 42 mpg and then I got use to the bike, mpg are now about 33, but I have to watch it to get that. I just love my two wheeled HOTROD!!!!!!

May the Lord always ride two up with you!
