Red Diamond

Heading out to west Texas Thursday for a four day run. Big Bend, Presidio, Fort Davis, Van Horn, Alpine. Brackettville to Rocksprings via FM674 and Hwy 55 to Hill Country. Hope I don't burn out or up, my niece's husband will accompany me on his 2K green/silver I/S, I'll ride Red Diamond. Where ever you are going, have fun and ride safely for the Memorial Day weekend.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Txdeb and I are considering coming back from Tucumcari via Guadalupe Mts,  and Fort Davis most likely next Tuesday or Wednesday Ride safe and watch for troopers. They issue a lot of citations. I got 2 in 3 days

Slow down Pat, you're traveling like a "laser". LOL. Those citations are hard on the insurance.
Ride Safely and enjoy the trip.

If you get to Study Butte or Terliguna try the Star theather cafe or the La Kiva  for adult beverages and grub. Also 170 river road is a good ride.  :cooldude:

Me and Red Diamond beat the rains home and had a fine trip. We missed the River Road part of the ride as my riding partner is on kidney dialysis and was a little tired at the end of the Big Bend ride. We did however make Fort Davis and Hwy 118 run, along with FM 674 to Rockspring. Pretty good run for him in the West Texas heat, He did well and enjoyed the ride.
