From Da Blog...

So today...stumbling into the house after a long day at work and a longer commute, I slumped into the couch and turned on the TV.

Some overly perky 40-ish vaguely girlish man was standing next to a 10 foot picture of some overweight celebrity's ass...the ass mostly not covered by a bikini and sporting digitally enhanced cellulite.

No...I'm not making this up.

"Next up! We've got celebritiy bikini pictures! The ones they *don't* want you to see! Yes, coming up we have celebrity cellulite!"

They were serious. This was a popular "entertainment" news program. We're talking prime-time, network television here.

Had I been carrying today...I'd have shot the TV then and there.

What is it that we've come to?

Food for thought.

Only 1 item needed, dikes. Cut the power cord and then if you get bored enough in a month, you can wire nut it back together.

Works on computers also when the kids miss homework assignments and chores.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

I'm much more accurate with a Colt 1911 45.

No. It is what they've come to. After the nooz is over, mash the remote control
button quick before "Entertainment Tonight" comes on... In South Carolina Rudy Mancke is
looking down a snake hole on ETV at 7:00pm...

I TiVo what I want to watch each week and avoid the trash and commercials.  Occasionally, my jaw will drop when I see what comes on at 7pm.

I remember, as a child, watching Red Skelton and he said the word, "Damn".  I told my parents and they called me a liar.
